2021 Oct: Pastors Travel 1.5 Hours To Attend Conference in Maricopa, AZ; COVID Deaths Continue

I did a Pastors' Conference in Maricopa, AZ in October 2021 for the Ak-Chin Indian Community. The messages were well received. They were messages on "Unity Among the Churches", "Friendship Evangelism", and "Finding Personal Convergence in Your Callings".

What surprised me was that I thought the conference would be local pastors only. Instead, pastors were driving 45 min to 1 1/2 hours to come out! That showed me it was a regional conference and not just a local one.

Sadly, two pastors who intended to come died of COVID that week! Most of the Native American churches are in great fear of COVID at this time.

While in Maricopa, I also spoke at an Ak-Chin church (services held outdoors since the temperature was in the upper 70's).

I am hoping to go back in early 2022. No firm plans have been made yet.
